The Community
Mason and Deerfield Township, a growing
community of 40,000 residents 25 miles northeast of Cincinnati, continue to be a destination for uppermiddle class, college-educated professionals. In the last 20 years, it has been one of the fastest growing communities in the region. Great schools, quality neighborhoods and responsive government services make the area a prime location for raising a family, and educating children.

The District
The Mason City School Distrist ranks fourth in the state out of more than 600 Ohio districts for its overall academic performance. Mason city schools earned 30 out of 30 standards on the 2007-08 standard report card. This 'perfect' score puts the district in an elite category nine years in a row. Mason city schools educated nearly 11,000 in an early childhood center, (per-k, k, 1), two elementary schools, (2-3), an intermediate campus, (4-6), a middle school (7-8) and high school (9-12). All five eligible schools are recognized as Ohio's schools of Excellence and have met adequate yearly progress in every category. Mason High school (9-12) is a four-year public high school accredited by the North Central Association. For career education programs, students may attend the Great Oaks Institute of Technology and Career Developement.
