MHS Student's Letter Receives Recognition

MHS's Laura Palmer threw out a challenge to her freshmen English classes...How has an author's work --novel, nonfiction, poetry-- changed your view of the world or yourself? Freshman Jessica Cress took the assignment to heart and wrote a stirring letter to Suzanne Collins, author of The Hunger Games, that earned her recognition as an Ohio semifinalist in the national Letters about Literature contest sponsored by Target.
