About Us

The Goal
The goal of the MHS After Prom Committee is to provide a safe, parent chaperoned, school supported, chemical–free event for all Juniors, Seniors and their guests to attend after the Prom Dance.

What It Is?
The After Prom is a party hosted by the After Prom Committee and takes place at the high school. The After Prom Committee transforms the high school into whatever the theme is for the evening. For After Prom 2010, the theme is the Movies. For the cost of admittance, Juniors, Seniors and their guests are treated to games, food, prizes and a free T-shirt.

Who Is It For?
Mason High School Juniors, Seniors and their guests may attend the After Prom party only. Underclassmen may not be admitted unless they are the guest of an upperclassman and accompanied by that upperclassman. Junior and Senior students have the option to attend regardless if they attend the Prom dance.

How Does It Work?
After Prom begins at midnight the morning after the dance and ends at 4:00am. Once students arrive at After Prom, they check their keys, sign in and the fun begins!  Parents of students who purchase After Prom tickets but who do not sign- in by 1:30am will receive a phone call by one of our committee members to make them aware their child is not in attendance. Also, parents will receive a phone call if their student wishes to leave before 4:00am.
