The girl's swimming and diving team won their third consecutive GMC Championship this past Sunday.  The Comets overwhelmed second place Sycamore by a 585-364 margin.
 
The Lady Comets had a number of stellar 1st place finishes.  Breanne Keenan, Morgan Emter, Katie Heywood, and Betsy Stemple won the 200 medley relay.

The Mason Wrestling team won the J Horning Invitational on Saturday, January 23rd. It marks the 2nd time the Comets have won the event that they host each year in honor of their former captain James Horning. Mason bested 2nd place Olentangy by an overall score of 248-212.5 for the title.

The Gymanastic team continued their winning ways on Saturday Jan. 23rd at the Centerville Invitational. Mason placed 1st out of ten other teams edging the host Elks by a score of 137.225-1333.325. Mason’s individual gymnasts continue to steadily improve as the team has to date gone undefeated (4-0) this season. The Mason Girl's Swimming team won another Southwest Ohio Coaches Classic this past weekend.  The Comets ran away with the title besting powerhouse programs Centerville (2nd) and Ursuline Academy (3rd).  . Danielle Jansen led the way winning the 100 Free, 500 Free, 100 Breaststroke, and finishing second in the 50 Free. The Mason Wrestling team's match versus Harrison High School on Thursday, January 21 will be more than a battle between two of the area's best wrestling programs.  The host Comets will be sponsoring a "Pin Cancer Night" to benefit Mason student Geoffery McPherson who is battling the disease.

The Mason Athletic Booster Association (MABA) will host its second annual spaghetti dinner night on Friday, February 5, 2010 from 4:00-7:30pm. The dinner will be served in the Mason Middle School Commons.
