Five Mason High School students came out on top after taking the annual American Legion Americanism and Government Test. Seniors Sahir Rama and Molly Simeur, junior Alex Severson, and sophomores Kaitlyn Barnes and James Gao earned high scores on this optional test, administered in the fall. John Looker, Commander of the Joe Barr American Legion Post 194 in Mason, presented certificates and cash prizes to the five winners on March 20, 2012.
