MCS Gives Back

High School's 118 SIBS and 196 members of the Spanish National Honor Society put together a wildly successful campaign for the Mason Food Pantry that resulted in Mason families raising over $17,200 for this year's food drive. This money collected will become $172,000 in wholesale-bought food for the people in our community. The student co-chairs were Jordyn Mitchell and Charlie Mackenzie from SIBS, and Lauren Thomas from SNHS. Jeff Schlaeger, the SIBS advisor and school psychologist helped run the drive by supporting it on Twitter and helped the students coordinate stunts like duct taping Assistant Principal Dan Distel to the wall and pie-ing band director Bob Bass.
